Toronto music fans were in for a huge treat in the form of the bands I Prevail, Halestorm, Fit for a King and Hollywood Undead. The night at The Budweiser Stage on July 18th was filled with strong hard rock music that you can feel right in your bones, the way rock music should be! The four groups on the card brought so much energy and fun to the venue – it was very infectious and had fans grinning ear to ear. At one point The Hollywood Undead even brought a fan on stage with them during the song “Comin’ In Hot”. There was even a small bit with singer Skidmark Tony singing the classic tune “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey later in the night. What’s a concert without one cover right? I Prevail even pulled off their own version of Tayor Swift’s track “Blank Space”. There is truly something for everyone during this tour. As the sun set on the shore of Lake Ontario, Halestorm lead singer Lzzy Hale would kick off the band’s set with the most beautifully hypnotic vocals which had the crowd cheering for more. Hale even gave out roses to some lucky members of the audience during a few songs. Lead singer of I Prevail, Eric Vanlerberghe, returned to the stage with Halestorm to preform their collaborative track “can u see me in the dark?”. The bands are scheduled to be on tour through August 17th so check your local listings for a show near you.
