Toronto band Burner absolutely demolished their set at the Baby G this past Thursday, October 3rd, for PROJECT NOWHERE – a music showcase festival that makes its return for its second year in Toronto. An extreme emphasis on demolished as guitarist Fraser literally smashed his six string towards the end of their set. In true bad-ass fashion, lead singer Deshaun jumped into their audience and performed within the people while moshing along with the crowd full of close friends and fellow concert goers. Their music is so raw and so authentic – anyone can easily get lost in the melodies. It’s something that can make you feel whether you’re enjoying from the sidelines or in the center of the pit. They are truly the masters of their craft, and I can’t wait to see them rise to the legends they’re already growing to be. If you are a fan of the new wave of post-hardcore, then giver Burner a listen – you will not be disappointed. Good news for fans, Burner are set to release their debut LP on November 1st so be sure to check it out when it drops and don’t forget to support your local scene! In the meantime, you can listen and stream the band’s most recent single titled “Hyena”. This isn’t the first time Burner has been featured on Musik Mirage as we published an full interview with the band back in May which you can read HERE. Don’t forget to follow Burner on their social media accounts to see where they’re performing next @Burner.To. For the fans there weren’t able to make it out to the Baby G in Toronto on October the 3rd, you can still enjoy this photo gallery linked in just below.
