On Saturday night, Del Water Gap brought his Chasing the Chimera Tour to the History concert venue in Toronto. The show was completely sold out and the singer would mention between songs that this was one of the first shows on the tour to sell out when tickets went on sale. The temperatures outside were freezing as the short walk from the parking lot to the venue nearly had fans catching frost bite but luckily the packed house inside History quickly warmed things up. The artist is currently on the road in North America promoting his latest studio album titled Chasing the Chimera which was just related last November. The singer who also goes by the name S.Holden Jaffe, has been making his rounds the past few years playing his style of indie-pop at large festivals such as Reading in the UK plus he performed as the official supporting act on tour with Halsey last year. On this night, the stage was set up with a unique white, tent style which appeared to be made from canvass and would encapsulate the live band performing behind DWG. The New York native would go on to play a full set of old fan favourites along with a lot of new material off the latest album such as “Ghost in the Uniform”, “Please Follow” and “Small Town of Joan of Arc” which kicked off the evening in a puff of fog and strobes. Chasing the Chimera Tour is scheduled to continue on across the United States for the rest of this month before heading to Europe and the UK in March so check your locals listings for concert dates in your city. For the fans that didn’t get the chance to see Del Water Gap live in Toronto this time around, your in luck because it was just announced that he will be back in the city on June the 7th for the All Things Go festival at the RBC Amphitheatre with a stacked line up!
