Following the release of JUNNY’s new EP titled Null, the Korean-Canadian singer kicked off his latest tour in Montreal at Le National theatre. Starting the night was local singer Myles Lloyd, who quickly won the hearts of the crowd. His set flowed through smooth love songs, interacting with the audience and playing an unreleased song that was met with cheers. Lloyd’s casual ease onstage and chill tracks were a perfect complement to the main act of the show. JUNNY then jumped right into his popular song “Passion Pain Pleasure”. His new project offers a more mature sound that shows off his charismatic stage presence. It’s always a joy to see artist’s enjoy and fully immerse themselves in a performance, with JUNNY incorporating tight dance breaks and playing with the crowd throughout the set. This show marks his third time performing in Montreal, and he noted all the returning faces in the crowd. The singer revealed that he and Lloyd worked on a remix of Lloyd’s song “Drive Me Crazy” and the two gave the crowd a first viewing of the unreleased collaboration. The two had great chemistry and worked together seamlessly, the song will be released at a later date with two other artists. Continuing on with his set, JUNNY sprinkled in older songs from his previous EPs that were met with excitement plus acoustic covers that brought the audience through a wide range of emotions.
