Grammy award winning rock band OK Go took the stage at San Francisco’s Regency Ballroom on Monday May 14th for their second consecutive date the city. Known for their creative and viral music videos, including the award-winning “Here It Goes Again” – OK Go brought color, laughter, and an unmatched amount of confetti to the popular venue. With a set list interspersed with old fan favourites and newer tunes, the crowd of all ages danced and sang along while confetti cannons blasted on beat. It would also prove to be an interactive show as the band welcomed questions from the audience, commenting on topics from how the group developed (frontman and singer Damian Kulash and bassist Tim Nordwind met aged 11, at band camp) to their favourite bass lines they’ve written (Nordwind’s: “A Million Ways to be Cruel”). Engaging and genuine, OK Go made the crowd feel at home between upbeat melodies and slow emotional ballads. With this tour, the band showed their creativity and love of their craft remains a hallmark of the group who continues to make music since launching their career over 20 years ago.
