If Toronto thought it was hot this past Tuesday, they sure were in for some extra heat as PVRIS (pronounced Paris) took the stage for their North American summer tour a The Danforth Music Hall. Helmed by singer Lynn Gunn, PVRIS put on a show with lots of energy and good fun. In a crowd of over 1000 fans, it felt as if we were having a one on one with the band. It was simultaneously intimate while having a big dance party with everyone around you. Not only is PVRIS cranking out some crowd favourites but they’re also taking their latest single Oil & Water out on the road. Lynn holds such duality of projecting her vocals to make you feel as she sings but is soft spoken when addressing and talking to fans. Alternative-pop British band Pale Waves had fans screaming for more as this was their first time in Toronto in a few years. Pale Waves fans waited patiently for their return and loved every single moment. The band released a new song titled “Perfume” which you can check out here. Opener Sizzy Rocket came out to perform alongside Lynn to close out the show for the song “GODDESS”. PVRIS are playing through the United States until July 12th so be sure to check your local listings to see when the tour is coming to your area.
