American alt-rock band Wednesday took to the stage at Scala in London, England on Tuesday night for a highly anticipated sold-out gig as part of their 2024 European tour. The five-piece put on a fantastic show performing songs from across their discography, including their 2023 album ‘Rat Saw God’ which lead vocalist Karly Hartzman promised fans would soon be followed up by a sixth studio album. The performance was met with incredible enthusiasm by an energetic crowd, with mosh pits forming regularly throughout the show to the delight of the band. A long way from their hometown of Asheville, North Carolina bit its clear that Wednesday have established a universal appeal in their songwriting that is sure to see them continue from strength to strength. Supporting Wednesday were post-hardcore indie band MSPAINT who would warm up the crowd with a high-energy set and engaging stage presence. Wednesday is scheduled to be back in London this Sunday when they will perform at the All Points East Festival so check them out when they are in your area. For those that cannot make it to any of the tour dates you can still check out the photo gallery from The Scala on August 20th linked in just below.
