This past Wednesday September 17th at HISTORY marks a night for the ages. Our Last Night ended an era with an epic performance on their Final Tour date in Toronto. With supporting acts Windwalker warmed up the crowd with their unique mash-up of post hardcore and alternative metal. Greyscale took us on a ride with their melodic pop punk, telling a beautiful story that tugged on your heartstrings. Our Last Night stormed the stage with the perfect balance of clean vocals and heavy screaming to tell the story of each song. An incredible light and smoke show complemented, stimulating the senses and synchronizing perfectly with the rhythm and tone of the set list. Being a clear fan favourite, they gave the energy back, making the crowd feel seen and appreciated. During their second song, a little boy crowd surfed his way over the barricade. Trevor Wentworth, vocals, bent down and gave him an epic fist bump, an experience he’ll never forget. Throughout the night, they laid down an impressive 20-song set, taking us across their extensive cover catalogue, which included huge hits like “That’s So True” by Gracie Abrams, “hot girl bummer” by blackbearand “Habits” by Tove Lo.Showing off their ability to cover damn near anything, they performed “Your Idol” from the hit Netflix film K-Pop Demon Hunterswith a unique hardcore twist, much to the crowd’s enjoyment. They also played an array of their original hit songs, “BURIED ALIVE”, “NO HELP”, “White Tiger”, and “Sunrise”.
