Brit-award-winning singer-songwriter Arlo Parks took the stage at The Fox Theatre in Oakland, CA on Tuesday March the 5th and was met with great excitement from Bay Area fans. In 2023, Parks followed up her critically-acclaimed debut ‘Collapsed in Sunbeams’ with her sophomore record ‘Soft Machine’ and has been touring internationally ever since. The twenty-three-year-old singer went on to perform hits such as ‘Weightless’ and ‘Caroline‘ to a crowd of enthusiastic fans who love the artist’s honest lyrics, passion, and sense of style. She danced and sang across the stage in the historic theatre to jazz, funk, and pop-influenced songs which saw the crowd head-bobbing and swaying. It was clear that Arlo Parks had won over her fans with her genuine happiness to perform this night, especially with Oakland-native Chloe George in attendance.
