Indie rock band The Brook & the Bluff took the stage at San Francisco’s famed The Fillmore on Saturday April 25th to a crowd of fans happy to see the group return to the city by the bay. Having opened for bands like Mt. Joy, the group has been on tour for several weeks as the headlining act with support from Ethan Tasch, a singer/songwriter the band is reportedly a fan of. Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama but now Nashville-based, The Brook & the Bluff are wrapping up their Werewolf Tour in support of their recent album of the same name (their 4th LP). On theme, the band included call and response howls throughout the show, slotted between dance-driven beats like new song “105” and older hit “Halfway Up” and slower ballads like “Rush”.  The Brook & The Bluff appeared genuinely happy to be there, telling the crowd that they’d bookmarked the gig at the famous venue as one they were looking forward to having previously toured smaller San Francisco venues like The Independent. The gig was filled with talent as good as the energy, with fans dancing and singing from the front row to the back. The Brook & the Bluff’s headlining tour will wrap up on May the5th in Denver, CO so check them out if they’re coming to a city near you and stream the album Werewolf wherever you get your music.
