London-based indie duo Good Neighbours rocked the Electric Brixton on Thursday evening with a sold-out show as part of their 2024 world tour. The band, best known for TikTok hit “Home”, drew an enthusiastic crowd of fans who were treated to a high-energy performance of existing releases and new material. Despite only bursting onto the scene in January of this year, the group performed with the confidence and enthusiasm of veteran musicians to deliver an evening of feel-good music. The positive energy of the evening reached its climax with a net of balloons falling onto the audience during the final song and was topped off with a crowd-pleasing encore of Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso”, previously performed by the band on triple j’s Like A Version. Whilst “Home” may have been a temporary TikTok phenomenon earlier this year, it’s safe to say that Good Neighbours mean business and are here to stay. 
Supporting the main act was sibling indie pop duo Esme Emerson, who have just finished wrapping up a successful year that has also seen them open for The Japanese House and Keane. The duo won over the crowd with a delightful set of heartfelt music, evidenced by an eager line of fans waiting to meet them at the end of the night.
