Australian post-hardcore heavy hitters The Amity Affliction brought the heat to a sold out Toronto show this Tuesday evening at the Danforth Music Hall. Supported by openers Mugshot, Dying Wish, and Currents as they celebrate the 10 year anniversary of their album “Let The Ocean Take Me”. This stacked bill was not one to miss for metal fans all around as the band performed their classic album in full for the audience in Toronto. The band would re-open the vault to play songs we haven’t seen live in years – bringing back memories of a different era for many long time fans. We’re still celebrating their latest acclaimed release “Not Without My Ghosts” from last year. Though, many show goers came out that night to experience the nostalgia knowing they likely won’t hear some of these songs live again, as mentioned by the band. Overall, the energy throughout the night was incredible and lively. Mugshot and Dying Wish set the tone with their fast paced sets, Currents filled the atmosphere with their more melodic sound. The Amity Affliction would top off the line up with an unforgettable performance, definitely one for the books. For all the fans that couldn’t make the concert or for those who want to re-live the magic, we have linked in the photo gallery from the Danforth Music Hall just below featuring photos of all four bands.
